New Babylon is an utopian anti-capitalist city composed by transformable structures that are connected to each other. Some of these are the size of a small city. These mega-structures would leave the bourgeois metropolis below and would be populated by â€œhomo ludensâ€ The post-capitalist individuals could roam in search of a new and free kind of life.
Self-fulfillment and self-satisfaction were Constant's social goals. Deductive reasoning, goal-oriented production, the construction and betterment of a political community--all these were avoided.
