Description:

De fabriek was one of the first artists’ initiatives in The Netherlands. It comprised – and still comprises - of a residence programme, meeting and working place for artists and designers focused primarily on art production. It's a space run by artists for artists.
During 30 years De Fabriek has produced/showed exhibitions, research projects, performances, discussions, moda shows, concerts, lectures, parties, publications, reading groups, workshops...

Goals:

To offer residence opportunities to artists. De Fabriek offers artists a place where they can produce projects away from their usual surroundings, and challenging them to design and show their work in this industrial venue
