Corresponding to the underlying thoughts of the exhibition, the wood of the construction of the Museum of Arte Útil will find a new purpose after the exhibition.

Groendomein ‘t Wasven will use the wood for its Summer programme. The thematic circular construction will have parallel programming, varying from lectures, musical performances to workshops. After Summer, the same wood will be used by children to build huts and tree houses in Speelpark de Splinter.

Furthermore, musician Geert Tiersma will use some panels for the ceiling of his interactive musical instrument museum for children. Last not least, Design Academy students Lidia Vajda and Christine van Meegen will take some of the wood for their city gardening project ‘Common Ground‘.
