Mejor Vida Corp

Description:

Mejor Vida Corp. is a non-profit corporation. M.V.C. creates, promotes and distributes products (subway tickets, safety pills, cheaper barcodes stickers, self-stamped envelopes, lottery cards, Student ID card, etc.) and services (cleaning service, recommendation letters, etc.) for free. M.V.C. doesn't discriminate against
gender, race, religion, sexual preferences or economic status.

Goals:

To question economic capitalistic processes and reject the idea of artistic production, every product from MVC is reproducible; to make that people question everyday issues, asking new questions about common things.

Beneficial Outcomes:

M.V.C has given away thousands of subway tickets during rush hours in most of Mexico city's subway stations; M.V.C's representatives periodically leave stamped envelopes for public places for national or international use; M.V.C has issued thousands of student ID cards. This ID has been approved by Carmen Macazaga Valencia, the University Extension Coordinator. The MVC Student ID Card can be used internationally to obtain free or reduced museum admissions, public transportation, travel accommodation, other IDs, discounts on airfares, as well as many other benefits; the website provides a printable
barcode database for products of supermarkets in Mexico, Toronto, Ottawa and San Francisco.
